Trail Passes
Purchase a season or day pass for the 2024-2025 winter season.
A trail pass is required to ski or snowshoe on most of CB Nordic’s groomed trail system. You must display your pass when you’re out on the trails for our trail hosts to see. With your trail pass, you have access to all 55 km of groomed trails.
Season Passes
A season pass provides unlimited skiing on 55 km of groomed trails for the entire nordic season (November to April). Season passes go on sale September 3rd. Prices increase on November 1st.

Day Passes
A day pass provides unlimited skiing on 55 km of groomed trails on the day of purchase.
Day passes can be purchased in person at the Nordic Center at 620 Second Street in Crested Butte.

We groom nearly 10 km of trails that are free and open to the public at the Town Ranch and on the Rec Path. These trails do not require a trail pass. You can ski, snowshoe, walk, and fat bike here, with or without your dog. These trails are accessed from the trailhead behind the school.

5 Free Rentals
We believe that everyone should get outside all year long. In order to help you get more out of your winter, each season pass comes with five free days of rentals.
Rentals include one pair of classic or skate skis or snowshoes, ski boots, and poles per day per person. Rentals must be reserved online in advance using the code in your season pass confirmation email.
Free rentals are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are limited to ten per day to accommodate our other guests. The offer does not apply to 10-Punch pass holders.
Rental equipment is due back to the Nordic Center by 5 p.m. each day. The Full Day Rate will be charged for each day equipment is late. We also charge for damage or dirt you leave on the skis. Thank you for treating our equipment with respect so that it will serve others as well as you.
Once five free rentals have been used, season passholders may rent equipment for 50% off.
Trail Etiquette
Always display your trail pass.
Respect landowners and stay on the groomed trails.
All trails are multidirectional. Uphill traffic yields to downhill traffic.
No walking or running on the trails.
Snowshoe users, walk on the opposite side of the trails from the classic tracks.
Dogs in designated areas only. Review our Dog Policies before you go.
Refund Policy
Season Passes are non-refundable and not transferable after redemption. If you are unable to redeem your pass due to injury or sickness, we may provide a pass credit of the same value the following season. Pass credit requests must be made prior to January 1st.
CB Nordic is a non-profit organization. Your season pass purchase allows us to prepare and maintain the 55 km of trails that deem us the Nordic Ski Capital of Colorado, allow all kids to ski for free, and keep our rates affordable for everyone. If you cannot redeem your pass and would like your pre-purchase to become a tax-deductible donation, we would greatly appreciate your support.
