Series Scoring Structure
The 2025-2026 Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series will feature six races from Thanksgiving to March. The races will feature classic, skate, skiathlon, and biathlon events. Only the “long” course at each event will be scored towards cumulative series points. Here’s how it works:
The top 10 male and female finishers at each event will receive points
1st place - 10 points, 2nd place - 9 points, 3rd place - 8 points, … , 10th place - 1 point
The final race of the season (Magic Meadows Meltout 25km) will count for 1.5x the points
1st place - 15 points, 2nd place - 13.5 points, 3rd place - 12 points, … , 10th place - 1.5 points
Only your best three scores count towards your overall score
A fourth race score will count in the event of a tiebreaker
