Good Morning! It’s 17 degrees with 15″ of fluffy new snow and it’s still coming down!
Current trail status is:
The West Side was packed out with no track being set until the snow has subsided later this evening. Mike’s Mile, GB Loop and Paradise Park have been temporarily closed due to avalanche danger.
The Bench was groomed this morning and is super buff and beautiful. Town Ranch was groomed at noon and has great coverage. The Rec Path is qued up next. Grooming will continue this afternoon and tonight, so check back with us for updates!

KBUT TRAIL REPORT
Crested Butte Nordic maintains 55 km of groomed classic, skate and snowshoe trails in and around town. Trail passes are required and are available at the Nordic Center located at 2nd and Whiterock. The current grooming status of local Nordic trails is as follows:
On The West Side – All trails are open for the season. The entire West Side was packed today except for Mike’s Mile, the GB Loop and Paradise Park which are closed due to avalanche danger. Grooming will commence as the snow tapers. Check back this evening for an update.
On The Bench- The Bench was groomed this morning and is super buff and beautiful.
On The East Side – The Town Ranch and the Rec Path were groomed today, coverage is excellent. Grooming will continue this afternoon and evening.
