Trail Report: THANKSGIVING

Good snowglobe morning!!  We are getting lots of fluffly flakes, practically an inch has fallen already.  Hooray, what a holiday treat!  The snow started at 7 am and 1-3 inches is forecasted for today.  Our current temperature at 8 am is 25 degrees, with a high of about 34 projected.

We are grooming Ruthie’s Run (the 5 km loop right at the nordic center) this morning, trying to time it so we groom after the snow.  Lily Lake (the 10 km system 6.5 miles up Kebler Pass Road) was groomed 2-3 days ago, so probably has 3-4 inches of snow and wind impact, so might be a bit more of a backcountry experience today.

Come get your exercise before loading up on turkey (or after)!  Have a fabulous holiday, and then join our wonderful Thanksgiving Camp Friday and Saturday!  Walk-ins are welcome – registration is from 8:00 – 8:30 am for the 9 am clinics and is $110 for the full day and $55 for the half day.  More at cbnordic.org or by calling (970) 349-1707.
