Happy Easter! Red Lady Bowl was pink in celebration of our pastel colored egg holiday. At 7:30 am we have a chilly temperature of 2 degrees with a projected high of 38 degrees with mostly sunny skies prevailing throughout the day.
We groomed the entire west side of our trail system this morning, and are heading out at 8 am to groom Ruthie’s Run (the bench above the nordic center) and Town Ranch and its the connector. With the cold drying out the snow, we will have super fantastic skiing today. For the most up to date grooming information please visit our visual trail report.
Today is our group Easter Egg Hunt for kids via skis and snowshoes at 10:00 am right here at the nordic center. Clues are also available throughout the day for more individual hunts or for those who can’t make it at 10. As always, kid’s rental skis and snowshoes are free.
Our Backcountry Bistro at the Magic Meadows Yurt is also today, from 10 am to 2 pm. We serve a la carte soup, pie, pastries, and drinks of all sorts – including the favorite mango mimosas – in a warm, friendly atmosphere, so grab some cash, and a trail pass, and ski or snowshoe yourselves to a wonderful treat of an experience.
