Welcome to the Backcountry Bistro!
Everybody’s favorite Bistro returns to Magic Meadows this season, serving up organic and gluten-free pastries, treats, teas, chai, fruit and soup, plus local coffee, delicious pie and festive, refreshing libations with a warm fire, sunny deck and weekly specials. Featuring Mountain Oven Organic Bakery, First Ascent Coffee, Bhakti Chai, Two Leaves and a Bud, and introducing High Lift Juicery.

Watch for weekly, holiday, and drink specials, as well as pop up tastings and events throughout the winter. 

Open Sundays from 10-2 at the Magic Meadows Yurt, on the Nordic trail system.

Sunday, December 23rd
Join us this Sunday for a very merry holiday Bistro at Magic Meadows. Serving up all of your Bistro favorites by the fire, plus these amazing specials: Free cocoa w/ candy cane crunch cream, Merry Mint Irish Coffee, 
Cranberry Crush Mimosas, Organic Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Parmesan Soup,
Holiday Cheeses with olives and apples, 
Fondue au Chocolat and Pumpkin Pie! 

And this week, we are very excited to team up with High Lift Juicery, the first organic, cold-pressed juicery located in the heart of the West Elk Mountains. Hand-crafted locally in Crested Butte, sample their Grateful Green, Rhapsody in Red, or a seasonal hot Apple Zinger, FREE from 11-1. Juices and holiday gift cards will also be available for purchase.

NEW YEARS BACKCOUNTRY BISTRO

Ring in the New Year, Nordic style, at our Magic Meadows Backcountry Bistro. Serving up all of your Bistro favorites by the fire, plus these festive treats: Free cocoa w/ razzle dazzle cream, Champagne Mimosas, Organic Cashew Ginger Carrot Soup, Dirty Drunken Irish Coffee, French Cheeses with tapenade and grapes and Very Berry Pie! 

Location
Our Magic Meadows yurt is located approximately one mile from the “gronk”, just north of Peanut Lake, on the Nordic Trail System. The trailhead is on Peanut Lake Road, with parking and trailhead signs accessing our groomed Nordic Trail System. Skis or snowshoes and trail passes are required to reach the yurt. Walking and biking are prohibited on these Nordic trails. The yurt is located on the Inner Magic Meadows Trails which are accessed by the Beaver Trail and the Peanut Lake Trail to the South, or the Pooches Paradise trail to the North. All trails are marked.
