Good Morning! It’s 6 degrees at 7:30 am under Colorado Blue Bird Sky’s with 2 inches of new snow overnight.

The current grooming status for the Crested Butte Nordic trails is:

On the West side: Mike’s Mile, the GB loop and Paradise Park are closed due to avalanche danger.  All other trails are groomed, this includes: The Red Lady Loops, Kapushion Trail, Peanut Lake, Beaver, Pooches Paradise and Magic Meadows.

The Bench Trails were groomed this morning.

On the East Side: Middle Earth is now closed and will be rerouted within the next few days! The rest of the East Side will be groomed by noon, this includes the following trails: Town Ranch, Skyland and Riverbend Connectors, The Rec Path, The Gulch Connector, Rudy’s Rollers, the Maze and Tony’s.

Today is the Mountains Store’s Citizen Series Race which will be taking place on our West Side trails. Register at the Gronk from 8:30 – 9:30am.  Kids races start at 9:30am and adult races start at 10am sharp.  You are welcome to show up to the starting line late, you’ll just have to play catchup!  Non pass holders are $12 and pass holders are $10, Kids are $2.

KBUT TRAIL REPORT

Crested Butte Nordic is reporting 6 degrees with Colorado Blue Bird Sky’s at 7:30am. CB Nordic maintains 55 k of groomed classic, skate and snowshoe trails in and around town. Trail passes are required and are available at the Nordic Center located at 2nd and Whiterock.
