Since the onset of the COVID-19 epidemic in Gunnison County, we have continually adapted our rental system to comply with new county guidelines.
***UPDATE: 4/7/20 – The last day to reserve rental equipment will be Wednesday, April 8. All equipment must be returned by Monday, April 13. ***
We are no longer doing day-rentals. We are doing multi-day rentals only. The goal of the multi-day rental program is to keep our staff and customers safer and to help you get outside more with less hassle.
***UPDATE: As of Sunday, March 29, we are updating our procedures yet again.***
The majority of our rental fleet is currently rented out to members of the community. We will now only require returns once a week (Friday, April 3 is the first day). If you would like to get on the list to receive rentals, please fill out our rental request form. We will be in touch as soon as we are able to fill your order. Please know that it could be a week or more before we can provide you with equipment.
If you currently have our equipment in your possession, but you are not using it, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up time to return it. This will allow someone else to have a chance to use it. Thank you!

How It Works
- Equipment will be rented on a first-come, first-served basis.
- You must have a season pass to participate in this rental program. Get your season pass.
- Reserve your rental equipment online. We will be in touch as soon as we are able to fill your order. Please know that it could be a week or more before we can provide you with equipment.
- Rental equipment is loaned on a pay-what-you-can basis, but we will require a $1 donation; if this equipment is not returned we will charge you the full retail value.
You MUST have a season pass to take advantage of this offer; this includes seniors and children. If you don’t have a season pass, you can purchase season passes online now at pay-what-you-can rates.
We will not be issuing physical passes, but we do need you to sign our waiver before using our paid trails and/or checking out rental equipment.
Our rental fleet is limited. We need you to return your borrowed equipment on time so others can have a turn.
