Welcome to the Crested Butte Nordic Trail Report for November 17th, 2017.

Rain all night in Crested Butte. Headed up to Lily Lake this morning. There is a new 3-5″ up there and we were able to clear all of the fallen trees and pack in all the trails. It is still NOT GROOMED. According to the weather forecast the cold front is not due until this afternoon.

Our trails are still closed due to a beautiful Indian Summer great for dryland training. We are ready and waiting for the next storm which is ramping up right now!

The Nordic Center is open on for Pass Purchase and Pickup, Ski Tuning and Hotbox services. Trails will open with enough snow so do your snow dances people!

Please stay off of the mowed Nordic Trails until they are groomed and opened for skiing. All of the Trails in our system have PRIVATE PROPERTY with in them and are secured by easements that DO NOT ALLOW for dryland walking, biking or dogs.

Thanksgiving Camp is Nov 23rd through 26th We are hoping for snow before then but otherwise have a plethora of activities lined up in case.

Thanks for tuning to the Crested Butte Nordic Trails Report and sign up for daily updates by joining the email list online.
