Friday, January 10th

Good Morning! It’s 12 degrees at 7:30 am under a light drizzle of snow.

The current grooming status for the Crested Butte Nordic trails is:

On the West side: Mike’s Mile, the GB loop and Paradise Park are closed due to avalanche danger.  All other trails will be groomed by 12:00p including: The Red Lady Loops, Kapushion Trail, Peanut Lake, Beaver, Pooches Paradise and Magic Meadows.

The Bench Trails were groomed this morning.

On the East Side: Middle Earth is now closed and will be rerouted within the next few days! The rest of the East Side will be groomed by 1:00p including the following trails: Town Ranch, Skyland and Riverbend Connectors, The Rec Path, The Gulch Connector, Rudy’s Rollers, the Maze and Tony’s.

The extra snow will ski slow early on and probably stay that way with the new snow

🙂
