Dinners at the Magic Meadows Yurt are a magical experience, and the New Year's Eve Party goes above and beyond. In addition to a gourmet dinner and drinks, you'll enjoy live music and a champagne toast. You’ll ski or snowshoe out to the yurt surrounded by majestic, snow-covered peaks. Nestled among the pines, the yurt greets you with a roaring fire and welcoming staff. At the end of the evening, you’ll make your way back to the trailhead beneath a spectacular sky of stars, and maybe even a full moon. This is truly an evening never to be forgotten.

An extraordinary Colorado backcountry route! The Grand Traverse is a point-to-point ski race from Crested Butte to Aspen.  Racers travel 40 miles across the Elk Mountain range, climbing over 6,800 vertical feet. To ensure competitor safety, racers must have a partner, carry mandatory gear, and begin the race at midnight when avalanche hazard is decreased.
