Gather with your CB Nordic community for an evening of pre-season camaraderie. This year’s Annual Meeting will be held virtually. Be sure you tune in for presentations about what’s going on with Programs, Events, Lessons, the Yurt, and more!
Traditionally this gathering also serves as the Annual Meeting of CB Nordic’s Membership. Hear what exciting developments are in store for the upcoming season, including the many COVID precautions we are implementing.
Circumstances may require that we remain physically distanced, but we can surely continue to strengthen our community bonds.
During this virtual gathering, we will use a software platform called Remo. Remo is like Zoom, in that you “call in” to the event with an internet link (linked below). However, rather than all being on one big screen together, Remo has “tables” where you can join small groups for real conversation. Just like at the regular Potluck, you can move from group to group and catch up with friends, old and new.
You’re welcome to familiarize yourself with the tool before tomorrow’s event. This short video provides a great how-to, which helps guide you through connecting your profile to LinkedIn, joining a table, and other best practices.
We highly recommend you call in to the event with a computer or a smart phone (not a tablet). Make sure you have an up-to-date version of Chrome.
You’ll want to leave a little time to get yourselves set up, so be sure you arrive right at 6 p.m.
While we all lament missing the “best potluck of the year,” yurt Chef Tim Egelhoff will be preparing meals for pre-purchase, so you can kick back and enjoy hearing updates with a delicious meal. Montanya cocktails will also be available as a meal inclusion!
Food & Drinks may be picked up at the Nordic Center from 3 – 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 12.
