The “Magic Meadows 7” is traditionally presented as a criterium competition, tallying the most laps skied in a 7 hour period. This year we’re taking a different approach . . . transforming the MM7 into a month-long virtual event, challenging our community to see how many kilometers we can
collectively ski! Participate by pledging an athlete, or skiing k’s yourself!

To record lap counts we’re using Challenge Hound to generate a real-time challenge leaderboard.

DO NOT sync your preferred tracking application (STRAVA) to your Challenge Hound account.
This will result in any ski you track being added to our challenge leaderboard.
We only want laps skied on the official course to be counted towards our challenge.
The official course Starts & Ends at the Magic Meadows Yurt.
The route will have directional markers to help guide you on course.
You must ski this exact course for your laps to count for the challenge. Start your tracking at the start, end your tracking at the end. Other kilometers skied before/after the laps do not count for the Challenge.
Alternatively, you may utilize the CBGTrails app, and utilize the audio navigation functionality to guide your route.
Once your Challenge Hound account is created, sign into your profile and
manually submit kilometer tally to the leaderboard using the “ADD an ACTIVITY ” button.

Submit your laps in Kilometers:
1 lap = 4.45 kilometers
2 laps = 8.9 kilometers
3 laps = 13.35 kilometers
4 laps = 17.8 kilometers
5 laps = 22.25 kilometers
*** If you are attempting to win the most laps skied Grand Prize, we encourage you to additionally track your laps using the TerraQuest mobile app tracking feature. (In order for us to verify the actual number of laps skied.)

We’ll be awarding a supreme prize package to the participant who fundraises the most donations through their challenge participation.
