GROOMER'S NOTE

Today will be relatively cool compared tot eh past few days. this means conditions will be decent for slush skiing into the late afternoon. Well at least the slush won’t be 6 inches deep by 2:30pm.

The East Side is a lost cause at this point. We have given up trying to groom it. Town Ranch is still holding on, but not for long.

FOR BEST CONDITIONS: HEAD TO MAGIC MEADOWS

Most of the Peanut Lake area is holding well and was groomed last night as well as Ruthie’s Run

Be careful navigating the bridges!

Update:

1) The Eastside trails are now closed. The Rec Path and Town Ranch may still be accessed by the public as conditions allow.
2) The Westside trails are still open, with the exception of Red Lady Loops. Conditions are variable and deteriorating quickly. Expect to encounter natural features, dry bridges, and ungroomed sections. We will groom periodically this week if conditions permit.
3) The Ruthie’s Run is still holding snow, but the road up to the Bench is melting out fast. We will keep it groomed as possible, but must reduce frequency due to melting snow on the road.
Bottom line – We’re trying to keep the Bench/Westside open for the rest of the week, but daily grooming is not likely. Please check the trail report before heading out, and no matter what it says, expect spring-time conditions (frozen solid in the morning, slushy in the afternoon, frozen slush in the evening/next morning, etc).
