I think we set a new record for trail use yesterday. It was amazing to see so many folks skiing with their households, practicing good social distancing, and staying healthy in the sunshine! Thank you for a fantastic season.
Alas, second spring has ended and third winter has begun. The groomers have packed down last night’s snow for their final groom of the season. Bundle up and brave the trails, if you dare! With wind and continued snow, you can expect trails will fill in throughout the day. But this is your last shot at some fresh groomed corduroy, so we say go for it. The Eastside is done, but the Westside, the Bench, and Town Ranch were given a pass this morning.
Despite last night’s winter revival, it is time to start wrapping up this season and looking forward to real spring and summer. Operations staff are taking a well-deserved day off tomorrow, and we are still planning to get the bridges out while we still can, starting Tuesday. Until then, enjoy our winter wonderland!
Happy Easter and thank you, again, for your support of this home-grown, community-owned cross country ski area. We are very proud to be a part of this community and it has been a pleasure to serve you all.
