Trail Report

October 30, 2019

It’s definitely been snowing out there, and today we woke up to sub-zero temperatures for the first time this winter.

However, we are still a ways out from having groomed track available.

Splain’s Gulch and Lily Lake are skiing, but they are NOT groomed. Grab your rock skis and go enjoy the adventure of it.

We will groom at Lily Lake as soon as we have permission from the Forest Service and the snow allows for it. Given the high-pressure system that we’re settling into, we will be waiting until at least the next snow fall to try to groom up there. We promise to let you know when we do!

There are NO groomed trails in town yet. We are bustling around the Nordic Center to get ready for the season, but we do NOT have any groomed trails open yet. Please respect private property and stay off the tracks where our trails usually go until they are officially groomed and opened. You can still get out and enjoy the National Forest trails and roads on your own!

Season passes are on sale, and we’re registering folks for the Thanksgiving Camp, Alley Loop, Masters Programs, and Junior Programs. October 31 is the last day for Early-Bird prices.

The Nordic Center opens on November 16.
