Back to some nice cold for a good change of pace from the HOT temps that we’ve had over the last few weeks. Looks like Punxsutawney Phil was right and we will get that extra 6 weeks of winter this year.
We had a FULL GROOM OVERNIGHT minus the closed trails (Mike’s Mile, Pooch’s Paradise near Peanut Lake Road, Paradise Park).
Avalanche Danger remains Considerable today (3/5) and there was another reported death in Colorado yesterday near Winter Park in the Front Range. Please be careful and heed our trail closures and warnings. They are for your safety. Danger is high even on groomed terrain and roads as they may be directly below avalanche terrain that can slide naturally or be triggered from above by skiers.
