End of Season Updates

Come volunteer with us!

Volunteers carry wood planks to help build bridges before the snow flies.

Not your Grandma's Bridge Days

Many hands make light work.

Please consider joining us for one or more Bridge Days. If you haven’t attended a Bridge Day yet, you can still join in on the fun and see what it’s all about. Over a dozen hardy volunteers helped install the bridges last fall.
And just like that, it’s time to transition again.

We’re hosting the following Bridge Volunteer Days:
Thursday, April 13th
Wednesday, April 19th
Saturday, April 22nd
Sunday, April 23rd
Please Sign Up Here for a Volunteer Shift.

We will meet at the Nordic Center at 8:30 AM for each Volunteer Day and will wrap up at 12:30. Lunch will be provided. Under the direction of our grooming staff, we’ll form teams and deploy to various river crossings.

Skiing the Bench?

It's all about timing.

If you are taking advantage of the bonus week of skiing on the Bench, consider these pro tips from our Programs Manager, Joellen Fonken:

Wax for warm temps and your glide will soar!

Being an early bird isn’t helpful here… the new daily grooming will set you up for a positive experience.

Our groomers are exercising the cats between 8:45 – 9:30 AM.

Get out and finish your season with a smile. Please remember, dogs are not allowed on the Bench Trails and like all nordic trails, you must stay on trail.

Take our Season Pass Holder Survey

As a community Nordic Center that exists by and for you, its members, we need your help to improve our operations each season.

Please help us make sure we’re serving your needs by filling out our end-of-season survey.

As an extra incentive, we will draw one survey response to win a FREE 2023-2024 season pass!
