Join us for the
Annual Potluck!

Coming up on October 21

This traditional get together is a great way to meet with friends, new and old, hear about what’s been cooking at CBN all summer and generally get excited about the snowy season in the making. This year, we will be hosting the potluck outside under the cover of the Big Mine Ice Arena, so come prepared with layers, sun protection, a cup, bowl and spoon, and a camp chair to sit in. As per usual, this is a potluck event, please also bring a favorite dish to share. See you there!

Stone Grind Opportunity

It's Good for Glide

We are coordinating with Boulder Nordic again this fall to offer a stone grinding service for the ultimate tune up for your bases. Whether you’re looking to smooth out scratches or flatten out bases on your favorite pair, you won’t want to miss out on this opportunity to improve your glide potential. For more information about the process, please visit Boulder Nordic’s stone grind info page here.
The cost for this offer is $85 per pair including shipping, with an additional Hot Box option for only $10 more. Please fill out this form and bring it in with the skis you wish to send in. Deadline for this opportunity is October 31!

Join us for Thanksgiving Camp

Registration Opens Oct. 1

The best way to start ski season is by skiing! Join our 2022 Thanksgiving Camp to get time on your skis with personalized coaching by our expert instructors. We have half-day clinics for beginner skiers and full-day clinics for intermediate to advanced skiers. You can count on us to hold camp no matter what the weather does; hopefully we can continue our long tradition of on-snow early-season training, but if the snow gods don’t look favorably on us, we’ll provide high-quality, ski-specific dryland training in a fun and educational environment.

JNQs return to Crested Butte

Call for Volunteers!

JNQs are coming back to CB Nordic this year on Dec.17-18. This is a fantastic experience for our young athletes to race with their peers on home snow and great exposure for other athletes to come experience the beauty of our valley. But they need your help! For more information, contact Ben Theryl at [email protected].

GT Success!

Thank you to our volunteers!
A huge thank you to the 85 volunteers that put in 479 hours to make these two races happen. This year, we saw 386 runners and bikers make the trek between Mt. Crested Butte and Aspen. Participants represented 30 states, with everyone from professional cyclists to med school students. Thank you for helping us pull off another successful summer GT!

Masters Community

Ski Better, Ski More!

You don’t have to have mastered skiing to be part of our Masters Community. In fact, we have Masters Classes for never-ever skiers, intermediate skiers, and advanced skiers alike. The Masters Community is all about getting out on your skis more, learning to ski better, and making ski-friends. It’s a great way to fix any bad habits or take your skiing to the next level. Learn about all of our offerings and get ready for registration on October 15.
