Sunny Days on Snow

Masters, Races, and Bistro, Oh My!

The Alley Loop may be behind us, but we’ve still got plenty of snowy activity in the works at CB Nordic, from races to Masters to fun Yurt events. So rock those snow dances, keep your skis on deck, and join us in celebrating some mid-winter awesome!

Coming up this month we have Learn to Ski FREECommunity Race #8, and the 16th Annual Gothic Mountain Tour. For the month of February only, take 30% off tours booked during February.

Thank you to all of our skiers who have hung in there with us during this high, dry, and cold spell. It has been a grooming challenge for weeks. We know the tracks are firm and shallow. Our groomers are doing the best they can with what they’ve got. The generous snow during the Santa Slammer got us up fully open and the skiing was fantastic, for a while. We are hoping to make the most of the deep base and growing daylight hours as we inch towards spring. Hopefully by the time you are reading this we will have some fresh snow to groom . . . . Keep eyes on our Trail Report for recent updates.

A few notes and reminders about trails. We are continuing to ask folks to please ski with dogs on Pooches, the Beaver Trail, Town Ranch, and the Rec Path, leaving Mike’s Mile to the moose. With the persistent dry spell, all off-trail adventures have become glaringly obvious and unsightly. A significant portion of our trail system is made possible by the generosity of the land owners whose property those trails are established on, as well as easements the CB Land Trust. We ask that you please, stick to the groomed trails to avoid any potential trespassing.
