Keep It Coming!
Snow is the Special Sauce
With snow in the air and more in the forecast, it looks promising for at least some of our trails to open this week. Stay tuned on the Trail Report: we’ll tell you as soon as they are open!
We have started hosting Masters and Junior Team programs on the snow we do have, and we can start hosting lessons if you’d like one. Lessons are 50% off until December 15! If you’re in Masters or Junior Programs, keep an eye out for emails specific to your program to tell you when/where to meet and what to expect. The trails are still closed to general public, but we’re hoping that this will change soon. Keep that snow coming!

Last Few Days
for the Hot Box Special
Bring your skis by the Nordic Center for the hot box special ($15 off!). Hot boxing your skis will permeate them with several layers of wax, and then we’ll scrape and brush them for you so you’re ready to hit the trails the second they open. Special ends December 13!
Rock Our Team Colors
On Sale for 2 Weeks Only
- One of the questions we get asked most is what people should wear for nordic skiing. Here’s a quick and easy answer! Wear these awesome Jakroo ski kits. The materials and construction are crafted specifically for nordic skiing: they’re made to shield you from the elements but to keep you from overheating. Plus, with our custom CB Nordic branding on them, they’re an awesome gift for the CB Nordic skier in your life. The store closes on Wednesday, December 22.

Pick Up Season Passes
by December 18
We strongly encourage all Season Passholders to pick up their passes before December 18 to avoid the holiday traffic. Right now, there is little to no line at the front desk, but come the holidays we are expecting quite long lines.
Community Races Postponed
First Race Dec. 19
Unfortunately without enough snow, we have had to postpone the start of our Pinnacle Orthopedics Community Race Series. The first two races have been postponed. Race #1 will be on Sunday, December 19th, and Race #2 will be Sunday, December 26th. Both races will have a Youth 1K/3K Freestyle, an Adult 10K and a 5K FUNSKI (Costumes encouraged!). There will be a post race after-party at the Cat Barn. Registration is still open!

Gothic Mountain Tour
Registration Now Open
The Grand Traverse Ski race filled up the day registration opened, but you can still put yourself on the waiting list. Meanwhile, sign up for the Gothic Mountain Tour to make sure you get some ski touring/racing in this winter! The GMT is an excellent training race for the GT, but also a beautiful backcountry course in its own right. We offer both Recreational and Competitive Divisions, depending on your goals.
